Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Dear sir,

my wife got married in aug2008.Before marraige my wife is a woking women.she had woked as a teacher for 5 years and nearly 1lakh she earned .her father asked her to give the money and help him to do her marraige. and he promised that he will give that money when he get retaired.but now he is gettin aganist to her and telling that any proof ,can she claim any in his property to get the money back please suggest me.

No, she may not be able to claim that money back after marriage.
