Getting a Domicile Certificate

I'm Staying in Kalyan, Dist: Thane, Maharashtra for the past 48 yrs. I'm working in a multinational company in Mumbai for the past 25 years.

I have a few Q.s regarding the Domicile certificate; they are as follows...

1. Where can i get the certificate?

2. What is the procedure?

3. How long does it take to get the thing done? (from Applying to getting the cert. in hand)

4. what papers should be taken to the respective office?

5. for what is it neccessary?

6. what are the charges for the same.

Pls answer them ASAP!

You may require copies of documents indicating your residence proof - voter card, ration card, phone bill, electricity bill, residence papers - rent receipt, lease deed/sale deed etc.;

You may take copies of the said documents and contact the office of Tehsildar of your area for proper guidance.
