Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
duty to approach court
if a land is recorded as revenue land in the name of a person since last 4-5 decades. basing on that record a person purchases that land. when he tried to raise construction over the land the forest officials obstructed him and tried to disposses him saying that the land belongs to the forest department. my question is who is legally duty bound to approach the civil court for declaration of his right? in my opinion it is forest department who should approach the civil court, please guide me

If you are being restrained by officials a public body in the discharge of their official duty, you may have to approach the court for appropriate relief.
