self earned property
My father-in-law worked in a reputed MNC in Bangalore and after he worked for 10 years, he purchased a site and built a house in subsequent years and now he is no more, His brothers, now demanding that the prpoerty is earned by Joint family and is to be shared equally. Kindly consider the following.
1.My Father-in-law's father was alive,when the property was purchased
2.The sale deed was made in My Father-in-Law's name
3.My Fatherinlaw was lived in Bangalore, where as his brother are living in a village
4.His one of his younger brother, working in a Govt department has occupied the Outhouse in the corner and creating neusance for leaving the same

if you have proof that your father in law purchased the property from his own earning like taking a loan etc then there is no problem even otherwise has hsi brother filed any case for his share?

His brothers have not share in the said property.

Brothers have not share if the property was self acquired in the name of Owner. Benami Transaction has been prohibited in India.
