Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Let me explain the case in detail.I am based at Singapore for the past 1 year, Today I got a call from ICICI bank regarding some Credit card I was holding in 2005 and dues pending from my side.
What surprised me that howcome they got my Singapore Mobile number and secondly they said that they sent notice at my earlier address but since I dont reside there hence they somehow got my number from some source and now since its year closing, they want me to pay back.
I told them its been 7 years why were they sleeping and the agent was bugging me by saying the same thing and also threatened me that my Passport will have an impact if I dont pay and I am a criminal....
Kindly advise what shall I do?

recovery can b made with in three years and they can not harass u illegaly u can file complaint to police and for more details u can call m
hire a lawyer in india and he would take appropriate legal action against the bank and its recovery agencies.
