What if father does not bequeath any property to his daughter through his will so she is not entitled to even ancestral property?

Father has all the right to give or not to give his property to his legal heirs but he cannot take away the right of a legal heir(s) in the ancestral property as the legal heir has a right over the ancestral property by virtue of his/her birth in the family.
