Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
my father had died on 30.6.10 leaving behind my mother, three daughters and one son. he had made an unregidtered will in favour of my mother and my brother. Actually my father was only son of his parents. after the death of my grandfather in 1998, all his property was tranfered to my father. My question is this whether my father has right to make a will

Your father can will his self earned property and ancestral property itself devolve upon his sons.
To be called ancestral property the said property have to be four generation old. An ancestral property cannot be willed.

No, he had no right to make a will in respect of property he inherited from your grandfather.
