Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
our father start a rented shop in the name of my elder brother(brother was 10 years old that time) father expired 9 years ago.now i am running the same.owner elder son ( owner also expired ) say that you are not the tenant hence you can not run the shop we are a cobined family .what is our remedy

the right to tenancy may delve by survivourship. the landlord cannot get the shop evicted on the ground that you not the tenant whereas you are a part of the joint family. where is the shop situate? is it the slum area?
