what is fine for police verification not done at the time of leave and license agreement

Dear Sir / Madam,
There is no fine for not doing Police verification.
The Police report is a pre-requisite that is done to safeguard the interest of both the parties in a leave and license agreement.
Many State Police Departments including Maharashtra have made it compulsory to obtain the Police report.
