Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Force to change religion
I am a Hindu and I am working in a school owned by a Christian missionary. The Christian manager is forcing me to change my religion and says that if I don’t become Christian I will be terminated from the school, because I am only 3 months old in the school and I am on a probation period. I have a person who is the witness to these harassments and can speak before anyone for me. Please tell me what to do and please tell under which law and which section my school manager is unlawful and unconstitutionally wrong. How can I get compensation from the Management? How much amount I can expect? I am a new employee in the school as I am working since July 2007 only.IMPORTANT - I HAVE NOT RESIGNED and I am on leave without pay, but the receipt of the leave application is not with me. Please my following Questions in little detail –[a] How much amount I can expect as compensation?
[b] Where to go for appeal or justice? [c] Which court has the power to decide?
[d] How to prove that their [MANAGER and principal who is a NUN- FEMALE Intentions are to forcibly change my religion, anD

Re: Force to change religion
1. dont think about compensation if seriously against change of religion.
2. dont rely on anybody for evidence in ur favour
3. resume ur duties and keep doing ur work and if they remove you then take legal recourse.
4. send complaints to police authorities including ministry concerned.
Re: Force to change religion
Why are you on leave? This will be negative to you and shall be against you.Firstly resume your job.During probation management can terminate you and this particular act on your part will provide reason to management to terminate your service.Donot depend on ay person that he shall give evidence in your support. No case of compensation is made out.You may politly refuse the persuation of manager to accept christian religion.lodge your complaint with higher management and if necessity arise then approach the court. In case of need you may contact with all details.Professional charges are applicable.
Re: Force to change religion
You deny politely to accept christian religion and inform it to the higher authorities.
