Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

I give money to other person as a loan against pronote (promissory note) before five year ( Feb 2006) afterthen this person not paid my principle amount wiht interest of five year. is validity of pronote after 5 years .what ligal path for me though court.please suggest me.as soon as possible.

a case can be filed within 3 years since the day he cause of action accrue. what is it written in the pronote that for how long you going to lend the money?
