Dear Sir / Madam,
Your grandfather cannot be compelled to give a portion of the land to your father. It is entirely at his sole discretion how he wishes to divide his inherited estate between his wife, sons and daughters during his lifetime.
In all likelihood, unless otherwise antagonized or pressurized by anybody, your grandfather is bound to be fair to all his children. It will be best for your father to be nice with your grandfather.

Regards,
Whatever your Grand father has received from his father is his self acquired property . Your father has no share in it.
In my opinion, your grandfather has NO right to alter the mode of inheritance. Since he has "Inherited" the property, your father has a share in the same by birth, alongwith all his brothers/sisters.
Your father is, therefore, not dependent on his father to give him or not to give him a share in the property.
