Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

If a group of people are fighting a society membership case in supreme court as RESPONDENTS in an SLP FILED BY the society after losing in the high court,. The group of people (RESPONDENTS ) have filed their reply giving the names of all the RESPONDENTS.When the case comes up for final hearing after 5 to 6 years, can the RESPONDENT group remove some names from the list of respondents submitted in their reply 6 years back to the supreme court, due to any reason and leave out those members from the list to fight their case alone, though the proposed to be removed members have contributed in cash 6 years back to fight the case ? ,
