Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Hello,
I wanted to know whether I can retain my maiden name after marraige. I wish to reatin my maiden name for my professional and financial use( bank account, pan card ,etc) since all my documents are on my maiden name.
However I would need to change my name for the family insurance.
Is it possible to retain my maiden name in professional aspects and use my name after marriage for family aspects simultenously?
Incase, yes, what else can i do to ensure smooth implementattion of this.
Thank you,

Need needn't to do anything to retain your maiden name. If u want to change your name, u have to publish the same in the Govt Gazette
