Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Hi.I am from Kerala. We have some land in kerala where our own buildings are there which was given to shop owners on rent 40 years before. They are giving rents as low as 10rs/month.The buildings are in a poor condition which need renovation.Recently I read in newspaper some law is going to come which favours land owners and ask the shop keepers to surrender the shop and land.If this is true when can I expect this law to be passed. Also what is this law says about?

you may apply for possession of premises on the ground that they are in dilapidated condition and also after the renovation or repairs, you may demand standard rent.
