iam in independent house in chennai, iam having 2 dogs 2 cats,i want to install one security camera in top roof house and other is in my car park for my pets, is this legal to install a cctv camera/ and other thing i want to install a camera in my main compond wall gate to see who pres calling bell in my compond wall? is this legal to install a camera in gate?

i do not think that there should be any legal issues in installing CCTV cameras. however, inform local police station.
