Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
i am an intercaste married son..mother is higher and father is lower caste..do i have an option to choose my caste. i am married to a lower caste wife..can i retain my mother's caste (higher caste) and make my marriage an intercaste marriage??

No. Your caste will remain the same in which you are born, i.e. the caste of your father.
