Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
I live in Ulhasnagar - 421004, Maharashtra, India. I am 42 and my girlfriend is 22 years old. Her father is vehemently opposing our marriage. I want to lodge a police complain against him. What is the procedure? Will the police help wholeheartedly?

in case the father is opposing the marriage, you may sort it out with him socially. going legal may turn your girl friend against you. marriage is easier to get in and tough to get out. better sort this situation logically and do not be driven by emotions.
