Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
i made some construction work to one of the neighbour house.for that i got rs.16000/-and also i got some jewells from her.later quarell took place.i didnt do the work .and i like to give the money and jewells back.In the mean time she gave complaint against me and my wife.police lodged an fir and i was released on bail now.There is no record for money and jewells only on oral discussion.i got money and jewells.The police put fir only for the quarell that took place between us.now the police is torturing us to get the money and jewells.The police is supporting her.MY QUESTION IS I AM READY TO GIVE THE MONEY AND JEWELLS BUT I NEED SUFFICIENT TIME.THE POLICE WONT GIVE ME TIME.IS THERE ANY OPTION TO MOVE THIS MATTER TO COURT AND ALSO AVOID POLICE INVOLVING IN THIS MATTER.
