Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Nationality Certificate

My sister in law is preparing for a bsc nursing after her gnm(post bsc). She is going to have her course in pune and has completed her basic education in kerala(upto 12). She has done her nursing diploma in pune only. For her bsc course, they are asking for a nationality certificate.

In Pune, from where she can get it?

How much time it will take?

What all supporting docs required?

Its urgent, is there any fast track option?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Nationality Certificate

No institution in India is supposed to ask for nationality certificate once the birth certificate is existing I hope they must have asked for a residence certificate or a migration certificate which is often asked in the universities by practice. You can get the certificate in the local revenue office.

Re: Nationality Certificate

The Passport or the Voter Card serves as a Nationality Certificate.

However, you may contact the office of local Collector of your area for the requisite certificate. You may carry with you necessary documents like birth certificate, passport, voter card, proof of residence, etc.
