Noise & Nuisance

I am resident in Mumbai. In our lane, just we have a religious institution and a temple which has created havoc. Constantly they are using Loud speakers, the visitors recklessly park cars making it difficult for residents to commute.

At times people cannot even walk!

What Legal remedy is available to put

1. End to their constant use of loud speaker

2. Halt to Parking of cars in the lane.

We want it to be No parking lane for outsiders.

Your guidance would be highly appreciated

You may contact the local Municipal Corporation and file a complaint regarding the same. On the other hand you may intimate the Traffic Control Authorities and forward the same copy to the Local MLA.

You may better contact the authorities of traffic police for appropriate relief. To contain noise, you may approach the local Pollution Control Board as also the municipal authorities. The issue is covered under E.P.A.
