I'm an NRI moving back to India next year. What residential status will I have in India and how it will be different from the Permanent Resident?

Are you a citizen of some other country ? Are you coming to India after 6 months ? If you are citizen of some other country then do you have a OCI or PIO card ? Please answer these questions to get legal advice.

as you an NRI holding an Indian passport, there is no change in status once you back to your own country.
