Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
hi,
Can A NRI who is residing in abroad from the year 1999 can have his name included in the family card issued in his father's name for the period of year 2005 to 2009.
The NRI person name is in the family card of 2005 to 2009 but he still lives in abroad and yearly once for 3 weeks vacation he visits india.
Is it legal to hold his name in the family card of civil supplies.
thank u

no, it is not legal as he is a Non Resident Indian and only resident family members need to have their neames on the ration/family card.
