Passport and school certificates of child

In case of divorce who (father or mother) has the authority of keeping the passport and the certificates of the child as per indian laws?

Good Afternoon.

This issue is decided by the Hon'ble Court at the time of divorce and it is very obvious that the parent who has having the custody of child will have the custody of childs records.

The issues of property and custody of children is decided by the court, normally at the time of divorce. The parent having custody of child will also have the custody of child's records.
