Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
One person has taken a Loan from My father around Rs.2 lakhs and he is not giving back that amount to us. We have cheques from him amounting to Rs.5 Lakhs.
Now we found out that he doesn't have any assets in his name, can I go legally to get my money back. We even have a promissory note sign by him for Rs. 500,000/-

in case you extended the loan of Rs. 2 Lacs, then why you got the pronote and cheques signed for Rs. 5L. this mischief may go against you in the court. better try to settle this matter amicably as the person who sought loan of Rs. 2 Lacs, is a needy person. litigation may not get you much as he has no assets in his name.
