Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Person A sold land to Person B in 1997. Person A was mother of 5 children and all of them gave power of attorney to Person A for selling the land. Now I am planning to purchase the same land from Person B but Person B does not have an original/copy of the above mentioned power of attorney. However, all land revenue records are in the name of Person B. Is there will be any legal complication later on due to missing power of attorney?

You need to check the Sale deed in favour of B as well as entries in the revenue records. however, before buying, you may consider obtaining "title search report" from a local lawyer.
