Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
A police officer caught me while I was talking to a girl, who is my friend, in a public place. He told me that it is a crime to accept gifts from a girl in a public place. He tried to take me to police station with him. I want to know is there any crime involved in this situation?

it is no crime and you can approach the higher officials for a stern action against the cop who caught you. did the girl make any complaint against you?
