can a woman getting married before 2005 be applicable for the, 2005 amendments of hindu sucession act 1956.

a female, married or unmarried, has a right under the amendments made to succession action and is applicable w.e.f. 9/9/2005. thereby, after the given date, she can claim her right provided the cause of action to claim her right arose after the said date.

By virtue of the 2005 Amendment Act, daughters have been placed at par with the sons.

The married women are not disqualified in any manner for their treatment at par with the unmarried daughters or the sons.

In terms of amended Section 6 of the Hindu Succession Act, all the daughters are entitled to become coparceners independent of other members of the family.
