About Property transfer

I was a government servant and purchsed a property in his wife name who was housewife.

my wife was died in 2005. now have two sons and one daughter. Now I want to transfer this property in my own name and don't want to give this property to any one till my death.

can this property transfer in my name . Kindly give me all posibilities.

no. it seems that you are not having good relations with ur children.

if they give you no objection only then u will be able to get the property in ur name otherwise you will get the equal share only.

when a women holds a property in her name then it becomes her absolute property! no matter that she did not have means to purchase the property or she had inherited it!

after her death - the husband and all her children (sons and daughters) have equal share in the property!

may be you can claim your right - the only thing is that since you have a share you can always object to any proposal for sale or even mortgage! and your signature is important for such transaction!

Yes, if other legal heirs of your wife gives NO-OBJECTION in your favour after relinguishing their respective rights in your favour.
