Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
I have purchased a property in 1984 and submitted Affidavit on Non judicial stamp paer of Rs 10/= giving the particulars of the property I purchased through Registered sale deed and requested him to issue pahani for the said property I purchased. This happened in 1988. Revenue Department issued pahani for the property I asked. As per pahani the name of the pattadar is the same and from whom I purchased. No where in pahani mentioned whether it is assigned land/restricted land.
In 2010 Revenue department says it is assigned land.
Is it legally sustainable? when I went my self and submitted declaration stating that I have purchased the property through registered sale deed and they issued pahani for the same from their office.
Can you please clarify the legal status
