Hi

this is really a very important case plz help me asap

we had posted a registered mail from

country-- india

state--- up

city------- muzaffarnagar-251001

sender details are :- indian panel court civil suite

the registery was sent to

country --- us

state---------- texas

suburb------- austin-78753

receipt number of that registered mail was - eu331072411in

unfortunately i didinot receive any confirmation receipt from there however the postcard was attached with that nor i have the informatiom that who so ever has received that registery, the details are extremly important for me i had tried to surf www.Usps.Com track n confirm option but that was of .........

Actually that mail contains a legal notice from the court , it was related to divorce , as my wife went to us widout my consent and also taken some cash n jewellery so there was a petition filed by me against her.....So what could be done , please do guide me the best possible way to get rid out of that matter

for your assistance i have all the details of her related to

social sec number, passport number,

but the main problem is that how can i present a proof of the permanent address of her in us on which i had delieverd

Thanks for referring an interesting question of law involved in the matter. I had carefully gone into the facts narrated by you in your reference.

To serve a notice of court permanent adress of other party is not required . It is only address where opposite is residing or where he /she can be served with such notice , is actually required . As you said that a notice has been sent to your wife through post , but you are not aware as who received the same --On the date of hearing you will come to know about the fate of the notice. If it is served upon the opposite party , it is sufficient proof of residence of opposite party at the given address.
