Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
This is regarding the release deed made towards my grandmothers self acquired land.
My grand mother has 6 legal heirs ( 5 sons( including my father ) and 1 daughter)
My grandmothers self acquired land was settled in favour of my father, my uncles, my aunt ( i.e. my father, his 4 brothers and 1 sister) and a portion was retained with my grandmother in the same settlement deed dated 1974 which was signed by all in a register office.
My grandmother passed away in 1982 and the portion of land which was retained by her was lying as it is. In 2003 , 2 of my uncles and 1 aunt( i.e. my fathers 2 brothers and 1 sister) released their share of the undivided land to my father in the form of release deed registered in a register office.
Now can their daughters ( my uncles daughters ) or my uncle himself claim for the released portion of land ? or is the release deed valid. Now that one of my uncle who released his share for monetary consideration as per the release deed document is not in good terms with us and claiming that I would go to court cancelling the release deed with the help of my daughters.
Pls advice.
