Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

Is religious compulsory?

I am a Hindu by born but I don�t like to be identified through any religious name.

Is it compulsory?

- That one should be carrying the religion name with him

- To live here with religiously identified

- To mention my religious in statutory docs. with Govt., court and other civil bodies

If one can avoid his belongings to any religion then advice the procedure to be followed for getting this status

Kindly guide me

It may not be required to mention your religion anywhere excpet where it may be a statutory requirement.
