Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Can someone relinquist rights of a mortgaged property:
We are going through divorce. Wife wants to give the property to me as she left me and kids alone and went away. House is on loan in LIC, paid 3 years EMI and 2 years i paid it all myself. It is on both of our names. It is also registered on both of our names. Since the market is too bad, i am unable to get the price of what i invested now. I want to wait for sometime before i sell, but she wants divorce immediately. Does the reliquish deed help in this case? Will it not be a problem in the future when i try to sell?
Thanks for your time.
