Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
A reputable university in Bangalore in which I am a student, has posted exam transcripts of students publicly, which as a result is available in google searches for everyone to see . In my opinion these private student data, must be accessible only to students.
I am planning to send them a letter to remove these transcripts from their website. My question is whether I have any legal basis to ask them to do so? Isn't it a violation of privacy? I am not looking to pursue a legal course, I just want them removed, so if anyone could help me with the appropriate content for my letter,it would be of great help!
