Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
Re:Re:Is Patta Valid
My father has purchased a plot of land in 2008 & we also registered that. Now a gowshala has filed a case against the land owner from whom we purchased & his son's by saying that we all illegally acquired the land, the gowshala has a patta & a letter saying that the particular land has been gifted to them for maintaning of cows in 1946 by the land owner with his sign on it. however in government records the land is in actual owner name since 1946 & now he is expired & the property has not been shared among his sons.the owner also paid revenue to the govt. for 3 years i.e.2005/06/07.Is that patta valid? secondly:- As we have purchased the land from actual owner as per govt. records on which there was no stay order or conflict for the sale. I wanted to now that whether they can sue us under illegally acquired of land or he can sue us under any other act such as gowshala act of 1960 rajasthan.

Re: Re:Re:Is Patta Valid
You may not debar a person from filing a suit, howsoever week or strong case he may have;
the result of a litigation / court-case may not be predicted.
However, prima facie, you appears to have a good case in your favour.
