want to know my rights
will the law as well as the police
helps a adult girl to live without
marrying apart from her family
members and what she had to do
to ensure that her family could not
harm her.

An adult girl may be entitled to live separately from her parents and lead her independent life of her choice. If any one tries to cause her harm, she may seek police protection. However, factually speaking, that may not be a good scenario - if an adult will let people know that she is helpless and has no support, she may be vulnerable and may become an easy target.
Advice : try to live in harmony with the family as far as possible.
