Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
hi! i am from Sikkim and my aunty is also from Sikkim. my aunty is married to a non sikkimese man. my grandfather has given her a share of land property. the land is registered in her name. in this case can any of the sons of her brothers claim that land?

These facts may not be sufficient for an appropriate opinion. However, so long as the land is registered in he name, she and her family should be able to enjoy all rights appertunant thereto. In case her brothers make any claim, they may need to file a civil suit in the local court and at that point of time the case may be defended in accordance with law.
