Is it jsut for money?
Your friend has no right in her fathers money, if she is adult. Except, in ancestral property, if any

Dear Sir / Madam,
The first and foremost priority of your friend, if he / she is an adult is to become financially independent by taking up a job. If he / she is a minor, in the absence of the mother, it remains the responsibility of the father to support the educational needs of his son / daughter, and he cannot abstain from this moral duty.
