Sir i have married to a girl against the wish of her parents also i have got our marriage registered at marriage registrar Delhi.
Now we want to stay living together.
But my question is can her parents go to police against our marriage and will Police help them ??
she is 24 and i am 29.
None of us were married before or divorcee.

They can, however the remedy available to you is when you leave the house, write a joint letter to the local police station where your wife last resided informing about the leaving and also attach copy of marriage certificate, do remember to jointly sign the letter and take stamp receiving.
Also prepare a copy of the letter to the local police station where you move to after the leaving the house and inform them also about the same.
Any complaint thereafter will have no value.

Legally No, but practically no one can prevent them, but they can't do anything as both of you are major. Keep the documents which prove that both of you are major with you.
