sir my parents have purchased a land of 1 acre by selling thair gold but they dont have the recipt for sold gold ,does this come under the self acquried property

yes, it may be their self acquired property.

as they had sold the gold and purchased the land but they should have some proof that the gold was purchased by them and then they sold the same for purchasing the property. in present circumstances, it can also be contended that the land was purchased out of joint family funds.
