Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

sir, i am working in income tax department as the post of Stenographer (grade pay-2400). I have joined against ssc exam which was published in 2006 and result outed in year july, 2008. My dossier was dispatched by the ssc in november, 2008. And finally I have joined in the month of April 2009.

my point wise question as under:

(i) in income tax department, from when (specific date), my seniority would be counted by the department as per court's order.

(ii) If one another stenographer joined in the month of march, 2009, who has joined after inter region transfer from Delhi and joined at CCA (Kanpur),, my question is that who the senior, I or he?

Yours truly,

Neeraj Kumar tripathi, sg

(i) This will depend upon your service rules and not on court ruling, as it is an administrative matter.

(ii) His joining office where you are working has no relevance; what is relevant is; when he joined service - to decide seniority.
