Dear Sir / Madam,
Only a member or in case of his / her inability to attend Society meetings, an Associate Member opted by the member to act on the member's behalf is eligible to be appointed on the Redevelopment Committee of the Society.
In the present case, if the family member is neither a Member of the Society nor an Associate, his / her election on the Redevelopment Committee of the Society is invalid, null and void. It is for all the other members to object to the appointment of the non-member in writing to the Hon. Secretary which has to be ratified by the Managing Committee in the next meeting and a member of the Society should be appointed in the non-member's place.
