Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India
We have sold one portion of our house in 1994. During recent survey it is observed that 1 1/2 feet of land comes in our portion. My question is we have sold them only the house and not the site and secondly we cannot demolish the house. They want to renovate their house. pls. advice.

u can ask them if they can buy such share a from you as when u have sold the house u must have mentioned the area of that ..... if your now discovered area doesn't comes in that described area .
in case you have not sold that 1 and a half feet of land, you may restrain them from constructing on that portion of land.
Your question is confusing on the one hand you say that you sold one portion of your house that means rest of the house is with you. Please clarify.
