Stamp duty for transfer of property from inlaws to daughter in law
Transferring property from my husbands brother to my name....what will be the stamp duty....

The amount of Stamp Duty depends on the value of the property and the prevailing applicable rates.
You may check with the local Office of the District Registrar of Stamps for the value of Stamp Duty payable on the transfer.
