Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in India

about succession certificate.

I would like to know whether the Hon'ble court can grant the succession certificate to the applicant for getting a job on compassionate ground on his father's place and whether the application is tenable? There is no property involved in this matter. The applicant wants this certificate only for getting job on compassionate ground. If the Hon'ble court can't grant the succession certificate then please guide me whether I have to convert the application to get the legal heir certificate?

Re: about succession certificate.

The court may issue a succession certificate ONLY if some immovable property is involved.

The "legal heir' certificate may be issued by the revenue authorities and court process may not be required.
