My wife sister is facing the problem in banglore her husband is daily drinking and beating her saying that not to talk with your sister even he was not talking now she ran and came to mumbai he is scared that he might kill him and his mother too give her son site now she want to settle down in mumbai cause she thinks that no relative is in banglore to help him and in mumbai her father is also not interested to help him cause her father is not good having an affair out side so in this case her father,brother. is not interested only myslef,my wife and brother's wife are helping her so in this case what should we do and he is calling from banglore and abusing very bad langauge we have the recording tooo with us we have kept for avidence please do the needful waiting for ur reply

First of all she has to file a case of cruelty u/s 498A and Domestic violence application, against her husband and her inlaws if any.
Thereafter under Domestic violence Act and other acts, she can demand maintenence from her husaband and can also demand to live in the same house and court will restrict her husband and other memebers not to enter in the said portion alloted to your wifes sister and also order for maintenence per month from husband.

You may immediately report the matter to the local police. The next step should be to file for divorce and maintenance.
She have to demand maintenance under different provisions of law such as 125 Cr.P.C., Domestic Violance Act etc. She can also file complaint with police.
