Legal Question in Technology Law in India

We created a partnership firm.

We recruited some employees (without meeting them-only written exam in mail and telephonic interview).

and sent them offer letter(only pdf format not on stamp) and mentioned that we will give you Loyalty bonus after completion of 01 year.

Now 02 employees completed 14 months and demanding loyalty bonus, salary is directly credited to their account (Online transfer from our current account) and now we are not in a position to pay them and we are regularly in loss for past 05 months.

They are trying to loadge case against us.

Pls give us any suggestions, what can we do now.

According to your admission that you are /were suppose to pay loyalty bonus after 1 year.
