Legal Question in Technology Law in India
My neighbor has installed cctv camera outside his home( in the common,general corridor,passage of the floor). since that time he has been using that camera to watch me,my family members & other neighbors. can anybody install cctv camera in the public place or common passage of the floor? has anybody right to use this camera for watching their neighbors? what indian law says about this act & individual freedom? can my neighbor watch us with the help of cctv camera? please guide me.

in case the coverage of cctv does not hinder your privacy and is only installed in the common passage just for the security purposes, it is not illegal.
