Legal Question in Technology Law in India

Regarding personal emails and chat scripts

I have done email,chat and SMS communication with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, that email Id is shared with her brother. Now her brother is threatening me to take legal action against me. However all emails are personal.

Please also suggest, can I use some sort of disclaimer to help me with these traps or not.

You may be guilty of criminal offence(s) under IPC and cyber-laws; it may be better for you to reach an amicable out of court settlement with the girl and her family/brother.
